COPS are probing breaches of Covid regulations after a training session involving Dublin’s seven-in-a-row chasing football team as manager Dessie Farrell was suspended for 12 weeks.

The collective session was held in contravention of the Government’s Level 5 Covid restrictions and the GAA’s own rules.
And it came just hours after the GAA pleaded with its members to respect the Covid guidelines, with collective training not set to resume until later this month.
The GAA will be allowed resume training for senior intercounty panels on April 19 despite the controversy over Dublin hosting a secret session this week.

A number of the all-conquering Dublin GAA team have been photographed breaking covid-19 restrictions to have a group training session.
Several of the six-in-a-row team took part in an early morning session in Balgriffin as reported in the Irish Independent today.

Among those taking part were two-time footballer of the year Brian Fenton, Johnny Cooper and Brian Howard.
The players were photographed at the Innisfails GAA club in North Dublin where they carried out drills with a coach overseeing activities.
RUGBY Johnny Sexton’s back in the Leinster team for tomorrow’s Heineken Champions Cup last-16 clash with Toulon at the RDS.
It’s one of four personnel changes made by Leo Cullen from last week’s win over Munster in the Guinness PRO14 final.
