NEW DELHI: In the backdrop of the shortage of Covid-19 vaccine in the country, RSS-affiliate Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM) on Monday launched a digital signature campaign for universal access to vaccines and medicines and demanded declaring all medical products required to respond to the pandemic as global public good, and put an end to profiteering.
“As we may be requiring nearly 2 billion doses of vaccine in the next six months, we need to involve many more companies in manufacturing of these vaccines,” said Ashwani Mahajan, national co-convenor of the SJM, while appealing to everyone to support the demand by signing the digital petition.
