AFCON U20: Cameroon through to quarters,Mauritania bounce back

Cameroon became the first team to reach the quarterfinals at the CAF U20 AFCON in Mauritania, defeating Uganda 1-0 in Pool A action in Nouakchott on Wednesday 17 February 2021.
Sunday Jang Junior s goal was the difference between the two sides.
Hosts Mauritania revived their chances of reaching the last eight with a 2-0 win over Mozambique in the day s other Pool A fixture. Goals from Mbareck and Sangare brought smiles to the hosts who had fallen to a 0-1 opening defeat to Cameroon on Sunday.
Mozambique, who fell 0-2 to Uganda on Sunday are all but eliminated.

Illegal drugs worth £11m seized by Royal Marines in Arabian Sea

The Royal Navy have seized more than 2.6 tonnes of illegal drugs in an operation lasting 10 hours.
In total 2.4 tonnes of heroin, crystal methamphetamine and hashish were seized, adding to the 275 kilograms of heroin confiscated two days previously.
Sailors on board the HMS Montrose vessel made the drugs raid after a suspect boat was intercepted.

The dhow was boarded as part of a counter-narcotics operation, which led to the ship seizing heroin worth more than £25 million.
