Wentz On Reuniting With Reich: “You Can Already Feel The Excitement We Have”
As his charity softball game last weekend, the former Bison discussed the excitement of getting to play for his old Offensive Coordinator

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (KVRR) – The start to the regular season with Carson Wentz and Frank Reich alongside side each other is one day closer. Wentz’s best season four years ago came with Reich by his side.
The former Bison’s had his best season in 2017 when Reich was the Philadelphia Eagles’ Offensive Coordinator. In thirteen games, the 2016 2nd overall pick threw 33 touchdowns, just one fewer than Seattle’s Russell Wilson for the league lead. He did, however, finish with the best TD percentage and the fourth best QB eating. Wentz has praised Reich helping him then and is excited to get to work with him once again.

FARGO, ND (KVRR) – The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks set the fireworks off early Sunday afternoon, finishing their homestand with an exclamation point as they beat the Milwaukee Milkmen 13-3 in front of 2,354 fans at Newman Outdoor Field. The RedHawks had three multi-run home runs and Logan Nissen pitched a season high seven innings in the win to propel Fargo-Moorhead into a three-way tie atop the American Association North Division standings at time of writing the Chicago Dogs face off against the Houston Apollos at 7:05 p.m. Sunday night.

FM improved to (25-18) with 4-3 win over Milwaukee Milkmen on Saturday evening

FARGO, ND (KVRR) – The Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks may not have put on an offensive clinic for fourth time in six games, but they came out victorious. Chris Coste’s squad took down the Milwaukee Milkmen, 4-3, on Saturday evening.
The Redhawks got on the board in the 3rd thanks to Manuel Boscan’s 4th home run of the year, a two run shot over the left field wall. Gage Hinsz got the start, going 5.1 innings, allowing two runs on four hits while striking out a pair.

The former Bison is expected to backup the veteran QB to start the season

FARGO, ND (KVRR) – After Trey Lance was drafted 3rd overall by the 49ers, (the second highest drafted QB in Bison history behind Carson Wentz in 2016) the Marshall, Minn native said that he didn’t know the organization had him in mind until after his name was called. He’s just the second from NDSU taken by San Francisco with Bob Erickson being the other back in 1973. At Wentz AO1 charity softball game last weekend, the FCS All-American mentioned how veteran QB Jimmy Garoppolo has helped him through summer workouts.
