JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Wednesday morning Jackson Hinds Comprehensive Health Center began administering the COVID-19 vaccine to health care workers and the elderly.
Glendora Singleton, Jackson-Hinds Director of Nursing said, “we want to deliver 100 vaccines to staff and elderly patients today.”
The Mississippi State Department of Health rolled out a new option on Wednesday, offering a convenient way for seniors age 75+ to schedule an appointment online. Previously, only healthcare workers and EMT/paramedics were able to schedule an appointment.
