The Royals have announced plans for fans to be present for the season opener on April 1 against the Texas Rangers. The team will host 10,000 fans per game to begin the season with plans to increase capacity monthly when it is safe to do so. Season ticket members will have priority access beginning the week of March 8th to select their seats for the 13 scheduled home games in April. Non-season ticket-holders will get the opportunity to purchase single-game tickets on March 24.
Fans will be in pod-style seating and would have to adhere to social distancing guidelines that would require six feet between seating pods. Masks would be required at all times unless fans are eating and drinking. The Hall of Fame and Outfield Experience will remain closed.
