Mike Parson announced Thursday that Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, will be used as a mass COVID-19 vaccination site from March 19-20. The state will work in conjunction with KCMO Health Department, the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority, Truman Medical Center, the Chiefs and RideKC for the two-day event, according to Parson. We appreciate the Jackson County Health Department, Truman Medical Center, Chiefs Organization, KCATA, Jackson County Executive Frank White (Jr.), and all local leaders and legislators who have offered their help to make this event possible, Parson said. By working together, we will ensure that every Missourian who wants a vaccine will have the opportunity to receive one.
