Two New England singer/songwriters to split June 12 bill
June 03, 2021PLYMOUTH The Flying Monkey has consistently delivered world-class live entertainment to the Lakes Region of Central New Hampshire, hosting Grammy-winning artists, International touring acts, Rock N Roll Hall of Famers, legendary comedians, and children s and community theater. While the challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic put a significant damper on the venue s ability to stage live shows in 2020, they are preparing for a busy summer in 2021 as the music returns to stages across the region and country.
Saturday, June 12 kicks off with a bang as songwriters Jay Psaros and Jason Spooner split a bill with their respective bands. Don t miss an exciting evening of original roots rock from two the region s most dynamic performers and writers.
Hudson Phil has been one of the top pacers at Saratoga Casino Hotel over the past couple of seasons, and on Tuesday (June 1) he added to those totals.
The Jackie Greene trainee was one of the top two winningest horses in the Open Pace in the 2019 and 2020 campaigns, but the six-year-old has split his time between Saratoga and tracks out of town. On Tuesday, Hudson Phil drew the outside post in the $10,500 feature for pacers one week after he scored an impressive victory in 1:52.
Leading driver Billy Dobson sat behind Hudson Phil and took him back early. Getting away last as the race’s 2-1 co-favourite, Hudson Phil reaped the benefits of first-half fractions of :26.4 and :56 seconds. The Greene trainee then made his move heading to the three-quarter pole as Dobson fanned him to the far outside. The longtime Open star completed his back-to-back jacks behind a three-wide move which saw him score in 1:53.
One of the first live events of the year in the Napa Valley, Yountville Arts ninth annual Art, Sip & Stroll takes place on Saturday, June 12, from 11 a.m.
VALLEJO Jeff Trager and Kevin Frazier are longtime concert producers and promoters.
They formed Frazier Trager Presents in March 2020, which offered a series of virtual performances as many performance venues were closed due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
