Hornish named wrestler of the year Tuesday, April 6, 2021 1:56 PM Jarrett Hornish, Wayne Traces 126 lbs wrestler, on the champion podium at Ohio State High School State Wrestling Meet.
HAVILAND – After claiming the second individual wrestling state
championship in school history, Wayne Trace’s Jarrett Hornish was voted
the Paulding County Wrestler of the Year in voting by the county coaches
recently.
Hornish tied the school record for most pins in a
season with 34 and was a Green Meadows Conference champion as well for
the red, white and blue.
“He is one of the hardest working kids I have had,” stated Raider head coach George Clemens. “He just had a tremendous season.”

Jacob Graham, a Cambridge resident and author, released two books last month under the pen name of Jacob Paul Patchen.
The books “Words that Matter: Family and “Sheltered: When a Boy Becomes a Legend” are Graham’s fifth and sixth books and were published by TouchPoint Press.
“Words that Matter: Family is the first in a series of 10 children’s picture books.
Graham describes it as a series written for children between the ages of 3 and 7, and is meant to bring meaning, understanding and enjoyment to the entire family.
The story line involves a young goose who does not understand what family is but learns through a story told to him by his grandfather.
