Years living in town: 62 Previous or current elected office held: Currently serving my 10th three-year term as a Trustee of Trust Funds Other qualifications: Served 3 three-year terms on the Budget Committee. Retired Deputy Chief Financial Officer for NH Department of Corrections. Masters of Business Administration degree. What are two issues you think are important and how would you address them? I see there being more than two important issues. 1.) The round-about/bypass of Route 202. I am currently undecided on whether the project should proceed. I would listen to public input combined with a review of the current project specifications. 2.) Filling critical vacancies in the Police and Public Works departments. I would use every resource available to select the best candidate. 3.) Road Repairs. Selecting the projects and contractors that will provide the greatest benefit to the town is essential. 4.) Spelling my name correctly on the ballot. Ballots with misspelled names will

Britany Barron of Jaffrey is accused of three counts of felony tampering with evidence related to the murder of Jonathan Amerault, 25, of Keene in September 2020. Attorneys for Britany Barron have requested she be released on bail on the condition she is electronically monitored and lives in court-approved housing, arguing that she would not have participated in the cover-up of Amerault’s murder were she not under the threat of her life from her husband, and that following her arrest, she confessed her part in the crime to police and has been cooperative since. Monadnock Ledger-Transcript - State: Don t fret over fishers

Monadnock Ledger-Transcript Published: 8/11/2017 10:09:38 AM A wildlife biologist with New Hampshire Fish and Game has said that concerned citizens in a Jaffrey neighborhood have little to worry about regarding fisher sightings over the past month.  Patrick Tate, who is also the leader of the furbearer project, said that fishers  or fisher cats as some call them  do not pose much of a threat to humans, saying they typically do not go after prey larger than them.  “Their reputation in folklore is more aggressive than they are,” said Tate, who said a male fisher can weigh up to 12 pounds, while a female can weigh up to six pounds. “When I see wildlife like that, I feel blessed… they are elusive creatures.”
