Vybz Kartel Bashes Popcaan and Jah Cure for Fighting over Groupie

Jailed dancehall star Vybz Kartel who seemingly is very active on social media took some time out to give his take on recent rumoured happenings between his student Popcaan and fellow Jamaican musician Jah Cure. While the Worl’boss did not call any names, it’s hard to find other musicians who landed themselves in the same crisis in recent times, hence all fingers are being pointed at Poppy and the Cure by fans and dancehall insiders. Atlanta Artist Al Rickjames Says Squash and Atto Scammed him 3k and If them touch Atlanta it s Up!

Salt Spring native Al Rickjames said he reached out to Squash via Instagram in 2019 and asked Squash if him can feature him on a track. He said Squash and his Manager Atto Wallace agreed to a 3k Usd deal. Al Rickjames said after he sent the money via wire transfer which is on record, Squash blocked him on Instagram and Atto gave him the run around for 2yrs. Downsound Records highlights emerging talent on new project

D Yani and Marcy Chin Since its inception in the 1990s, Downsound Records (DSR) has consistently sought to highlight emerging talent on its projects.  Among the acts that the label has brought from obscurity to fame are Nanko, I-Maroon, Fantan Mojah and Jah Cure among others. The label continues its thrust in highlighting newcomers with a 12-track project, the Storm Trooper rhythm.  Released on February 26, this is the first rhythm project for the label in five years. “In this period of uncertainty which is the new normal we threw out this rhythm and put some focus and emphasis behind some new talent.  We look forward to seeing how they develop and the response they get,” said Downsound CEO Josef Bogdonavich.
