NEW DELHI, India The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee’s tireless efforts today bore fruit when its team of lawyers succeeded in securing bail for 18 farmers arrested by the Delhi police about January 26’s incident. These 18 farmers were facing severe criminal charges, like an attempt to murder and robbery, after being indicted in three false FIRs registered in Alipur and Nangloi police stations.
Sharing the development with the media, DSGMC president Manjinder Singh Sirsa informed that the Delhi police had falsely imposed severe criminal charges on these farmers so that their release could be delayed for a long time. “With the grace of the Almighty Lord, our lawyers have succeeded in securing bail for them,” he added.
In a statement, the SEC said those behind the lending company were convicted for submitting falsified documents for its registration.
In its decision, the Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 111 found Danica E. Gerero, Imelda C. Singh, Diven E. Gerero, Jasvir Singh, and Jaswant Singh guilty beyond reasonable doubt of violating Republic Act No. 9474, or the Lending Company Regulation Act of 2007 (LCRA).
The court accordingly sentenced each of the respondents, who formed Naurasidhu55 Lending and Trading Corporation as incorporators and directors, to pay a fine of P10,000.
The SEC filed the criminal complaint against the respondents upon finding irregularities in their application for the registration of Naurasidhu55 as a stock corporation, as mandated by the LCRA.

A leading figure in a campaign to topple Britain s statues is a hard-left fanatic who previously expressed scepticism around the Pfizer vaccine, his social media posts have revealed.
Toyin Agbetu, 53, joined Sadiq Khan s new diversity commission this week to help investigate whether to remove statues and road names of prominent historical figures connected to the slave trade.
Mr Agbetu was previously known for his 2007 outburst in front of the Queen in 2007, when he shouted you should be ashamed during a service at Westminster Abbey.
In November he posted online expressing scepticism about the Pfizer jab s ability to deal with the spread of coronavirus. He wrote: We are being encouraged to relax our compliance with these relaxed restrictions because apparently a magical vaccine is around the corner from the Viagra specialists.
