Good evening Northern Michigan! It’s Season Three with What’s Growing with Tom, and Justin Morgan from Morgan composting is joining me today.
This week we are not talking about the raised beds but the lawn. Something we’ve been talking about for a few years.
We know it’s been a roller coaster of a Spring so far and for some, you may have already cut your lawn!
We took soil samples three years ago and again just a few weeks ago and need to compare the two.
Justin says everything is looking great! Our PH is good to go. No problems.
The tensions intensify when Leah tries to help Alf (Ray Meagher) and Roo Stewart (Georgie Parker) with their own dramas at the Surf Club.
After Susie took sponsorship money under false pretences, the Surf Club is facing serious scrutiny and a possible fraud investigation.
As Alf and Roo consider their options, Leah shows her support. However, Justin (James Stewart) is annoyed that she isn t focusing more on their own problems, which leads to a row between the pair.
Things get worse when Justin crosses paths with Susie s jilted partner John Palmer (Shane Withington) and bitterly blames him for everything. Leah is not impressed, so Justin seeks an escape by heading to the beach.

The annual Jumpers and Jazz in July Festival is one of Warwick’s biggest events and tourist attractions this year, and it has just secured another major boost for this year’s event.
Following the festival’s devastating cancellation amid last year’s coronavirus restrictions, Jumpers and Jazz media co-ordinator Bette Bonney said planning was in full swing for an even bigger comeback.
“It’s really fabulous to be back, because it was the community and businesses that expressed their deep sorrow that it wasn’t happening (last year),” Mrs Bonney said.
“We’re certainly building up for a great festival. All the bands are in place, and the events are growing … and the yarnbombers have been busy for months now and are producing the most amazing artworks this year for the art gallery installation.”
