Carolina Panthers Free Agency Targets: Defensive Tackles

Carolina Panthers Free Agency Targets: Defensive Tackles Scanning the free agent pool to see which DTs the Panthers should look at. Author: Mar 4, 2021 Each day that passes, we get closer to the frenzy of NFL free agency. The Panthers did a terrific job building the interior of the defensive line last year by drafting Derrick Brown with the 7th overall pick and signing free agent Zach Kerr. Now, Carolina will be looking to strengthen the inside with quality, experienced depth players. Today, we look at four options that the Panthers should consider as we near free agency. The Ravens need to get younger and deeper on the defensive line this offseason Adding more depth and youth to the aging position group needs to be a priority. Photo by Tim Nwachukwu/Getty Images The average age of the Baltimore Ravens’ starting defensive linemen at the start of the 2020 season was just over 31 years old. However, you never know what they have planned and it’s the author’s responsibility to highlight the free agent options. The Steelers have had solid play on the defensive line recently. Tyson Alualu was a major reason why. No. 94 is a free agent though and could leave the Steel City. Should that happen and the Steelers decide that they need to look for an interior defensive linemen, this is who is looking for a deal.
