Two Alliance Bank employees test positive for Covid-19

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 30): Two employees of Alliance Bank Malaysia Bhd, one based at its branch and one at its direct marketing office both along Jalan Ipoh here have tested positive for Covid-19. The branch employee also visited the bank’s Star Boulevard branch on Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, the bank said in a statement today. The two cases are unrelated. Both employees are currently pending medical treatment at an appointed government hospital, it said, adding that the cases were detected on Monday and today respectively. The affected branch employee has been physically absent from office since Dec 25, while the other employee was last on the office premises on Dec 28 (Monday), it said.
