SRINAGAR: Police on Saturday claimed to have solved a murder case within 12 hours and arrested all the three accused persons involved in the commission of a crime after carrying out an investigation in a professional manner.
As per details, a 50-year old man Khalil Mohammad Sheikh of Tarzoo Sopore was critically injured in a scuffle that broke out between two families at Tarzoo area of Sopore in North Kashmir on Friday afternoon.
Later on, the injured person was shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore where doctors declared him brought dead.
Acting on a complaint, Sopore Police lodged an FIR under a relevant section, and an investigation was taken up.
SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday claimed to have busted fake Lashkar e Toiba module at Warpora village in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A police spokesman in a statement said that a complaint received from one person (name withheld) stating therein that he has received a letter on the letter pad of Lashkar- e- Toiba wherein he has been directed to pay an amount of Rs 5Ok for the banned outfit, as the organisation is in dire need of funds for carrying out various activities of the organization.
“Upon receipt of the complaint, FIR No.11/2021 U/S 13 ULPA 452, 393, 120-B, 511 IPC was registered at Police Station Sopore and investigation was taken up,” said the spokesman.
High Court Stays CAT’s Judgement Quashing Promotion Of Sub Inspectors Of JKP
SRINAGAR: Division Bench of Jammu and Kashmir High Court has stayed the operation of the judgment of Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) order impugned dated 9th December 2020 regarding promotion of 2010 batch of Sub Inspectors and ordered that any promotions made on the basis of the impugned seniority list questioned by the private respondents shall remain subject to the outcome of the present petition.
