Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) [India], March 15 (ANI): A wild elephant suffered injuries after being hit by a train in Tamil Nadu s Navakkarai city on Monday morning.
A team of forest department officials and veterinarians reached the spot. The elephant is now being given medical treatment by a team of forest department officials and veterinarians.
The elephant was crossing the railway track to drink water by a nearby river when the incident took place. (ANI)

Media personality Joey Muthengi has set the record straight on her earlier statement where she admitted that she did not want to get married or have kids of her own.
Addressing the matter via Twitter, Joey explained that she had made the remarks jokingly and did not think her words would be blown out of proportion by naysayers.
In her post, Joey pleaded with her fans to refrain from threatening her and move past the issue.
“I jokingly said that I will never get married. This was on an afternoon radio show of which I had been invited as a guest. Can we please move on and not use threats against me/us? Thanks J,” she wrote.
