European champions Chelsea have confirmed three contract extensions and also announced the departure of one first team player.
The biggest news on Friday was the contract renewal of manager Thomas Tuchel just a few days after leading the club to their second UEFA Champions League title.

The Blues also confirmed that veteran duo Thiago Silva and Olivier Giroud have both extended their contracts by one year. I cannot imagine a better occasion for a contract renewal. I am grateful for the experience and very happy to stay part of the Chelsea family, Tuchel told the club s official website.
