Improving the Bluetooth audio experience
Over the past several months, we have been adding new features to make Bluetooth audio streaming easier, better, and more performant.
Unified audio endpoint: No more clicking through multiple audio endpoints to make your Bluetooth headset’s voice and mic work properly. We now only expose
one audio endpoint in the UI and will switch to the correct one automatically for you for a seamless experience. Listening to Spotify and then have to hop onto a Teams call? You can also now directly control the volume of your headset.

Build 21370 improves the Bluetooth audio experience with a unified audio endpoint and support for the AAC codec.
There have also been some small adjustments made to icons in File Explorer’s address bar, the touch keyboard launch animation has been made smoother, and if you set focus to the Run dialog, the touch keyboard will now show a backslash (\) key.
Fixes in this build include:
[News and interests] Fixed an issue where hovering over the news and interests button sometimes may not open the flyout.

Microsoft missed its typical Wednesday schedule for a new Windows 10 build release in the Dev channel, instead giving us another pipeline test update. We re still getting a new build this week, though, as Microsoft is now rolling out build 21370 from the co release branch.
This build is a bit lighter on features than last week s release, but it does pack a significant improvement for anyone who uses Bluetooth earbuds or headphones on Windows 10. Now, users will see a unified endpoint for a Bluetooth device, instead of seeing two different items. These two items were used to distinguish between a speaker-only channel, which offered better audio quality but no microphone input, and another channel meant for communications, which enables the microphone but offers worse audio quality. Microsoft has released a fresh new build for Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21364 comes with some new features and bug fixes. While the Windows maker no longer ties these builds with specific versions of the operating system, these new improvements being tested are likely to end up with Windows 10 21H2 expected to be released at the end of this year.

Windows 10 Build 21364 gains support for Linux GUI applications on Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL)
It’s Wednesday, so that means it’s time for a new Windows 10 Insider build on the Dev Channel, and Build 21364 is one of the best releases in a while with exciting new features for Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) and Task Manager.
Arguably the biggest addition here is that Windows Subsystem for Linux now includes a first preview of support for GUI applications. Nicknamed WLSg, this open source feature lets you run your favorite Linux GUI apps, which makes it even more useful.
