On 12/18/20 at 9:59 AM EST
An unknown man, his face obscured by a gas mask, was caught on surveillance video attaching a note reading we want blood to the door of a Democratic Party county office in Florida.
In the video, the man, also wearing latex gloves, emerges from the woods, unfolds a note and disappears momentarily from view as he approaches the side of the building, before fleeing into the undergrowth again.
The footage was released by the Duval County Democratic Party after the note was found on Monday with the footage being retrieved on Thursday, said Daniel Henry, chairman of the county s Democratic Executive Committee.

As speculation continues about candidates in the upcoming St. Petersburg mayoral race, and insiders expect jockeying to begin in earnest next month, former state Rep. Wengay Newton said this week heâs âdefinitely consideringâ running.
Businessman and civic activist Deveron Gibbons
said people have asked him to run and heâs thinking about it, but that family considerations might get in the way.
Newton lost the Democratic primary for county commissioner to Rene Flowers in November, but he said he would perform better in a non-partisan election including Republican and no-party voters.

At reader request, I’ve added this daily chart from 91-DIVOC. The data is the Johns Hopkins CSSE data. Here is the site.
Returning to the upward trend. I feel I’m engaging in a macabre form of tape-watching, here, and I hate to see the upward rise, because I don’t think the peak is coming in the next days, or even weeks.
I thought I’d look at some big states (New York, Florida, Texas, California) instead of the Midwest:
The big states all moving more-or-less in tandem now, with California sprinting ahead; perhaps spread was nationalized with colleges and universities opening and closing? The correlation seems to happen around 63 days ago (October 1).
