Kathmandu, Jul 18(UNI)
Nepal s newly appointed Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba would face a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives on Sunday.
Deuba decided to undergo the floor test at a time when the opposition seems to be fragmented as disagreement within the opposition CPN-UML has reached an all-time high while the equation between two factions in the Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal is also constantly changing.
The Constitution of Nepal provisions that a Prime Minister who is appointed in accordance with Article 76 (5) must undergo a floor test in the parliament within a period of 30 days.
