A Royal Flying Doctor Service plane has safely landed at Jandakot Airport after reporting mechanical problems while attempting to reach the tarmac.
Emergency crews were on standby at the airstrip south of Perth on Thursday afternoon as the aircraft made two attempts to land before successfully reaching the ground at 4.30pm.
The plane, which circled the airport for several minutes while conducting a visual check, made the unscheduled landing as a precautionary measure after the pilot identified a faulty warning light.
