COLUMBUS, OHIO, UNITED STATES, May 7, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ The People’s Party has kicked off petitioning for ballot access in the Buckeye state of Ohio. The seventh most populous state is also known as the Mother of Presidents, having elected seven U.S. presidents.
The Ohio People’s Party needs to gather the signatures of 60,000 voters by June 2022 to get a ballot line and run candidates. Organizers will be looking to double that as a cushion. All signatures must be in person. Ohio joins the states of California, Colorado, Maine and Oregon in officially beginning the ballot access process.

CANFIELD Gary H. Frazier, 84, died early Friday morning, Feb. 19, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
Gary was born Nov. 30, 1936, in New Brighton, Pa., a son of the late Harry and Elizabeth Harris Frazier, and came to this area as a child.
He graduated from McDonald High School,where he played basketball, and following high school, served in the U.S. Army.
Gary worked at General Motors Lordstown for more than 25 years, retiring in 1994. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed snowmobiling. He liked to watch sports on TV baseball, boxing, basketball and football but most important was spending time with his family. He loved his family and will be dearly missed.

Fee falling: FirstEnergy announced Tuesday it had axed a fee it had collected since 2011 as the company continues to try to restore its reputation in the aftermath of the House Bill 6 scandal. HUBBARD Mr. Lawrence Raines Jr., 66, transitioned from this earthly life to eternal peace Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, at the Hospice NW Ohio in Toledo.
Mr. Raines was born Feb. 26, 1954, in Youngstown, a son of Lawrence Sr. and Anna Louise Simmons Raines. He was a 1972 graduate of East High School.
Lawrence was in the skilled trades program and a licensed electrician at General Motors Lordstown for 21 years, retiring in 2019. Prior to working at General Motors, he was employed with Sharon Steel. He was a member of Steel City Sportsman Club, where he held the position of treasurer and caretaker. He enjoyed yard work, chess, music, computers, technology, bowling, fixing cars, old Western movies, hunting, fishing and family gatherings.
