Wicked Local PLYMOUTH – This could bring a whole new meaning to dinner and a movie. Moonrise Cinemas is set to open a drive-in theater with outdoor restaurant and beer garden in North Plymouth, at the Kingston line, for a summer of flicks and food. Scheduled to open Friday, June 4, the new experience will offer family movies along with food truck meals and snacks each weekend through November. People will be able to watch favorite movies in their car, have dinner and quaff an adult beverage or two. There are even outdoor games for the kids when they get restless. “We wanted to offer a place for families to go and have a good time,” said General Manager Andrew Hoag. “We’re creating a community where you can choose your own adventure, whether it is watching the movie, eating tasty food, relaxing with a drink or playing games.”
