HAMILTON Musical Finally Getting Its Own Funko Pops

Look around, look around, the the revolution’s still happening everywhere. Six years after
Hamilton debuted on Broadway, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s smash-hit musical is as big as ever. Disney+’s recording of the live stage show grew an already oversized fanbase into a behemoth. And all those supporters can’t get enough of the Ten-Dollar Founding Father. Now they’ll soon be able to take him home. Along with some of the most important figures in his life.
Hamilton is finally getting its own line of Funko Pops.
Funko has announced the newest line to join their collectible empire. Six members of the
Presidentsâ Day is actually Washingtonâs birthday, recognized by an Act of Congress for government offices in Washington, D.C., in 1879, and for all federal offices in 1885.
In 1971, the Uniform Monday Holiday Act to create more three day weekends moved the observance of Washingtonâs birthday to the third Monday in February.
As Abraham Lincoln was also born in February, so many States include him in the observance, and still other States include all the Presidents.
George Washington was born FEBRUARY 22, 1732.
He was:
â unanimously chosen as President of the Constitutional Convention;
â unanimously chosen as the first U.S. President;
â unanimously re-elected to a second term.
Baylor University
When the Texas Baptist Education Society petitioned the Congress of the Republic of Texas for a charter to start a university, the first name suggested was “San Jacinto” to recognize the victory which enabled the Texans to become an independent nation. Then it was changed to honor revolutionary hero Ben Milam. Just before the final vote of the Congress, the petitioners requested the university be named in honor of Judge R. E. B. Baylor. Republic of Texas President Anson Jones signed the Act of Congress on February 1, 1845, officially chartering it as Baylor University.
