Ex-OHSU medical resident: School breached settlement deal

Ex-OHSU medical resident: School breached settlement deal July 15, 2021 FacebookTwitterEmail PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) A former medical resident at Oregon Health & Science University who sued the school in 2018 alleging retaliation for her complaints about discrimination now accuses the school of breaching their settlement agreement. After mediation, OHSU was to pay $100,000 to the resident, identified only as ” I.J.,” and she agreed to resign from her residency job as of Oct. 31, 2018, The Oregonian/OregonLive reported. Her new lawsuit alleges the school shared disparaging information about her with prospective employers, commented on the existence of the agreement in violation of the settlement and failed to provide a required reference letter for her.

The Republicans Plot to Take Back the White House and More

ThyBlackMan.com) The GOP’s relentless war on alleged rampant voter fraud targets, not thousands, as many critics have noted, but millions of eligible voters. The Brennan Center for Justice found that the majority of the five million eligible voters that could be banned from the polls under the new restrictive laws rammed into place in a dozen states by GOP governors and GOP controlled state legislatures were Black, Latino, or American Indian, low income, and young voters.  The SCOTUS decision upholding the Arizona GOP voter restrictions, the Georgia and Texas tough new restrictions and the vote suppression measures proposed in two dozen more GOP controlled legislature states will add even more millions who can be dumped from the voting booth.
