Known as a brand that always has that air of edge and fun to it, Onitsuka Tiger is here with an exciting new brand campaign to usher in the Spring/Summer 2020 season. Front and center is Willow Smith the brand ambassador and seasoned Onitsuka Tiger campaign star, presenting a contemporary collection that combines fashion with sports, and heritage with innovation.
Major Brands Around the World Share #StopAsianHate in Solidarity
A number of international brands have joined the call to end anti-Asian hate and expressed their solidarity with Asian Americans following a series of violent attacks against the community in the last couple of months.
Some of these companies have taken to social media, posting with the hashtag #StopAsianHate, which comes with the message condemning the national wave of anti-Asian discrimination.
Fashion and apparel brands Tommy Hilfiger, Nike and Converse have put out independent statements on the issue.
“To our Asian community, we respect you, we are with you,” a video posted by Nike noted.

For residents of State College, many local businesses continue to close amid the pandemic. However, a new seafood and cocktail restaurant is hoping to be a ânice little surpriseâ for the community, according to partner and co-owner Tim Riefel.
Central Reservation opened in downtown State College on the corner of Beaver Avenue and Allen Street for takeout in July and dine-in in August.
The restaurant is attached to Riefelâs other restaurant in State College, Local Whiskey, which opened in 2012.
According to Riefel, the restaurant is operating in accordance with current Pennsylvania coronavirus guidelines that allow for 50% indoor capacity.
The restaurant is not limited to ages 21 and over, and Riefel said they are working on developing a âmore expansive and creativeâ mocktail menu for those under 21.
A musician who was raised at a local temple released an Extended Play Record (EP) in collaboration with Willow Smith. Jahnavi Harrison, a musician from Watford known for her mantra meditation music, was raised in a family of Bhakti-yoga practitioners at Bhaktivedanta Manor, near Bushey. And now the artist teamed up with Willow, daughter of Will and Jada Smith, to release a six-track EP titled
R I S E in November. In the search for a deeper connection and “inner calm” the two worked together to create a spiritual, meditation and uplifting collection of Sanskrit mantas. The tracks are inspired by sacred texts of the bhakti tradition.
