Jakarta police issue ultimatum to five suspects 13th December 2020

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta Metropolitan Police investigators have issued an ultimatum to five suspects in the case of alleged breach of the government s health protocols in several crowds-pulling events in Petamburan last month to meet the police s summon. As conveyed by the head (of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police s public relations division), they are given two options. Either they surrender or get arrested, National Police Spokesman Inspector General Argo Yuwono told journalists here early Sunday.
This week, the Jakarta police had named six people suspects of the violation of health protocos during the events at Islam Defenders Front (FPI) leader Habib Rizieq Shihab s home and te FPI headquarters in Petamburan, Jakarta, last month.

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta Metropolitan Police investigators grilled Islam Defenders Front (FPI) leader Habib Rizieq Shihab for 11 hours over the case of alleged breach of the government s health protocols in several crowds-pulling events, held at his home and FPI headquarters last month. In the questioning, conducted from 11.30 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. on Saturday, the police investigators raised 84 questions to the suspect, National Police Spokesman Inspector General Argo Yuwono said here early Sunday.
Speaking to journalists at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police headquarters, Yuwono said the police investigators also decided to detain the FPI leader as a suspect in the health protocol breach case.

On Monday (December 14, 2020), the West Java police investigators will coordinate with those from the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Bandung, W Java (ANTARA) - The West Java Police s General Crimes Directorate affirmed that it would still go ahead with its plan to interrogate Islam Defenders Front (FPI) leader Habib Rizieq Shihab though he has been detained by the Jakarta police over the case of health protocol breach.
