California Highway Patrol officers were escorting cars through the pass earlier Tuesday morning. Officials said they planned to reopen the highway after they made it through the entire pass.
The highway was shut down Monday night after snow had accumulated for hours, making for dangerous driving conditions.
Snow has been accumulating for hours and is now sticking to the road, making for very dangerous driving conditions.
Smith & Wesson on Tuesday jumped into the micro compact market with both feet by introducing a new line of double-stack The new 9mm M&P Shield Plus, which comes in both standard and Performance Center models, comes with 10- and 13-round mags while keeping the same traditional frame – and therefore holster – size as the legacy Shields. Other new additions are an updated and optimized grip texture and redesigned trigger. S&W says the flat-face trigger will give users a consistent trigger finger placement allowing for more accurate and repeatable shooting, while the new stippling on the grip texture allows the user to manage recoil, keep a firm grip, and not irritate the skin while carrying concealed.
Today s crop of micro compacts are all very similar in dimensions. (Chart: Chris Eger/Guns.com) The Ruger MAX-9 is a game changer, said Ruger President and CEO Chris Killoy. With industry-leading features at a highly competitive price, this American-made handgun will provide a versatile option for consumers looking for a superior offering in the popular micro-compact market. The MAX-9 has a flush-fitting 10-shot magazine with a finger grip extension floorplate that can be added to the mag for comfort and improved grip. A man parked his truck Monday evening right outside a Walgreens in Morgan Hill in the South Bay.
He entered the pharmacy, with the vehicle still running and his three children ages 8, 9 and 13 still inside. That’s when police allege Caleb Holderfield, 24, stole the truck with the man’s kids still inside, according to a release from Morgan Hill police.
The victim spotted Holderfield allegedly driving away toward the northbound side of Highway 101, and alerted authorities. A countywide alert went out for the missing children.
