 21 Apr 2021 - 13:16 Image used for representation alone The Peninsula Online Doha: Ministry of Public Health released a information leaflet for pregnant and lactating women giving details on Covid-19 vaccination.    The leaflet is prepared by Dr Salwa AbouYakoub, Chair of Obstetrics, Dr. Mariam Al Beloushi, Dr. Gamal Ahmed – Senior Consultants in Obstetrics and Gynecology; Women’s Wellness and Research Center, Hamad Medical Corporation and Dr. Soha Al Bayat, Head of Vaccination, Ministry of Public Health, Qatar. This leaflet is intended as a guide to make an informed choice with regards to whether or not one should take the Covid-19 vaccine while trying to get pregnant, in pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

Qatar- More than 100,000 vaccinated so far: Soha al-Bayat

(MENAFN - Gulf Times) More than 100,000 have been vaccinated for Covid-19 so far, Soha al-Bayat, head of Vaccination at the Ministry of Public Health said on Wednesday.   There is high demand for the vaccine. As of now we have vaccinated more than 100,000 people  and we will soon reach 50% of the target groups, disclosed Dr al-Bayat at the weekly online  interaction session.  As for the side effects of the vaccine Dr al- Bayat said that they are very mild and vary from people to people.  The side effects are very mild like pain at the site of the injection or mild fever or headache or body pain for some people while several people have no side effects.  17 Feb 2021 - 16:31 The Peninsula Online Doha: More than 100,000 people have been taken the COVID-19  vaccine in the country, according to a senior health official.  Head of Vaccination at Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Dr Soha Al Bayat, said: “I’m happy to say that more than 100,000 have been taken the vaccine; there is high demand for it. And we have reached at least 50% of the target group.” “And in coming days we hope to see more and more people getting vaccinated,” she said in a live Instagram question and answer session hosted by the Ministry.  Al Bayat urged everyone to register through the MoPH website.
