Press Release: New Board Member Orientation and Oaths of Office The Oath of Office was administered to four FSUSD Board members on Thursday, December 17, 2020. Veteran Board Members Judi Honeychurch (Area 3) and Bethany Smith (Area 1) continue their service on the Board, and newcomers, Ana Petero (Area 6) and Helen Tilley (Area 2), began their term on the Governing Board. Each will serve a four-year term, which expires in 2024. Superintendent Corey administered the Oath-of-Office to Board members Honeychurch, Smith, and Tilley at the beginning of the December 17th Governing Board Meeting. Solano County Supervisor Monica Brown administered the Oath-of-Office to Ana Petero prior to the Governing Board Meeting.

Commission for Women and Girls announces new members, officers FAIRFIELD Rechelle Nettles has been selected as the new representative for Fairfield on the Solano Commission for Women and Girls, and Andrea Lemos will represent the Solano County Office of Education. The commission’s new officers are Chairwoman Laura Petty, Vice Chairwoman Jennifer Hamilton, Secretary Gayle Vaughan and Treasurer Sakina Ali. Nettles brings 20 years of nonprofit experience to the commission, including as the development director of the Girl Scouts of America and as a director for the Boys and Girls Club of America. She also has worked with the homeless and those leaving prison or jail.
