The worlds of K-drama and the Italian mob collide in explosive fashion in Vincenzo, a sweeping if occasionally awkward new series that sees Song Joong-ki return to Netflix just a few weeks after Space Sweepers.
Song plays the memorably named Vincenzo Cassano, a Korean-born but Italian-raised consigliere for the mafia who lives in a swanky apartment, wears only the finest Milan-tailored suits and has boyish looks that belie his ruthless streak.
The show kicks off in Italy in gangster saga mode with Vincenzo travelling to a vineyard following the death of his boss, where he meets the head of another crime family. The conversation is tense and confrontational, but Vincenzo never flinches.

“Vincenzo” stars Song Joong Ki as Vincenzo Cassano, an Italian lawyer and Mafia consigliere who is of Korean descent, but was adopted by an Italian family at a young age. When he moves back to Korea due to a conflict within his organization, he winds up crossing paths with sharp-tongued layer Hong Cha Young (Jeon Yeo Bin) and her intern Jang Joon Woo (2PM’s Taecyeon). Together, they join forces in using villainous methods to take down villains who cannot be punished by the court of law.

Previously on “Vincenzo,” Hong Cha Young (played by Jeon Yeo Bin) and Vincenzo Cassano (played by Song Joong Ki) teamed up to take revenge after the tragic death of her father Hong Yoo Chan (played by Yoo Jae Myung). Vincenzo also delivered a fierce warning to Choi Myung Hee (played by Kim Yeo Jin) after learning that she was the one who had ordered that he be killed.
Additionally, the latest episode of the drama ended with a shocking twist: the seemingly harmless intern Jang Joon Woo (played by 2PM’s Taecyeon) was revealed to be the true chairman of Babel Group. As it turned out, his bumbling facade was just a front to mask the evil, scheming sociopath hidden inside.

In a recent episode 4 of Vincenzo, lawyer Hong Cha Young (Jeon Yeo Bin) and Vincenzo Cassano (Song Joong Ki) joined forces to take revenge after the unexpected and tragic death of her father, Hong Yoo Chan. This newly formed tandem is expected to make the story more interesting.
After they managed to speak with the people involved in Hong Yoo Chan s demise, Vincenzo bravely gave a vehement warning to lawyer Choi Myung Hee (Kim Yeo Jin) after knowing that she was the mastermind behind the killing.

In the latest episode of the drama, Vincenzo and Hong Cha Young performed an act of brutal revenge against Babel Pharmaceutical which plans to launch a new medicine with illegal drugs as its main component. Hong Yoo Chan (Yoo Jae Myung) lost his life trying to keep the substance from being released.

In order for Vincenzo to pursue the mafia s principle of an eye for an eye , Vincenzo decided to track down the person responsible for killing Hong Yoo Chan. He works together with Hong Yoo Chan s daughter Hong Cha Young who has ideas about the connections between the Babel Pharmaceuticals, the death of her father as well as Woosang Law Firm. Hong Cha Young and Vincenzo sent a warning to Choi Myung Hee (Kim Yeo Jin) and set Babel Pharmaceutical s entire storage warehouse on fire.
