Midfielder Brett McGavin expects more Blues youngsters to follow him, Corrie Ndaba and Aaron Drinan in having a loan spell in the Scottish Championship with Ayr United.
TWTD revealed on Monday that McGavin, 21, was set to join the Honest Men with the loan to the end of the season confirmed later in the day prior to the deadline.
Defender Ndaba had made his move to Ayr earlier in the transfer window and striker Drinan spent a spell with the club last season, having spent time on trial at Somerset Park along with McGavin, who returned to Suffolk before manager Mark Kerr renewed his interest this January.

Brett McGavin has completed his loan move to Scottish Championship side Ayr United, where he will play alongside fellow Blue Corrie Ndaba, who joined the Honest Men on a similar basis earlier in the month.
However, Ayr manager Mark Kerr, who nearly joined the Blues as a player in 2001, revived his interest in the 21-year-old and is pleased to have taken him to Somerset Park for the remainder of the season.
”Brett is someone we know well having had him here on trial before,” Kerr told the Ayr official website.
“As soon as we realised there might be a way we could get a deal done we stepped things up and are delighted to get it over the line.

TWTD understands Scottish Championship side Ayr United are keen to sign Blues midfielder Brett McGavin on loan for the rest of the season.
Town defender Corrie Ndaba has already joined the Honest Men this month and has impressed in his two appearances, while striker Aaron Drinan was on loan at Somerset Park this time last year.
McGavin, who is contracted to Town until the summer of 2022 with the club having an option for a further season, spent time on trial with Ayr along with the Irish frontman prior to his loan move but the Bury St Edmunds-based schemer returned to Suffolk.
