Firdous Ashiq Awan is known for her theatrics. On one occasion, she came out of a blood donation drive only for Pakistanis to discover that the event was fake. On another, she rode a motorcycle borrowed from a rescue 1122 rider, only to be filmed during the stunt. Now, yet again, the Awan from Sialkot was seen using her karate chops surrounded by officials to amply demonstrate her martial arts skills.
But this time around, Awan, an adviser to the Punjab chief minister has not only outdone herself by her own previous standards. In the process, she has badly exposed a key gap in Prime Minister Imran Khan’s regime – the matter of a government with functionaries operating without a clearly defined structure.

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Tuesday summoned Punjab Chief Secretary Jawwad Rafique Malik and Special Assistant to CM on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan over the Sialkot Ramazan Bazaar incident where Awan had reprimanded Assistant Commissioner (AC) Sonia Sadaf. Awan had castigated Sadaf over the quality of food, inviting a tirade of criticism on social media. The PM’s aide Usman Dar and PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz had also criticised Awan over her behaviour. The incident had taken place on Sunday when Awan was on a visit to a Ramazan bazaar in her hometown. MUZAFFARGARH: An alleged audio of PTI lawmaker from Muzaffargarh Khurram Khan Leghari has surfaced on the social media in which he is reprimanding Assistant Commissioner Jatoi Arshad for not facilitating his tour to the Ramazan Bazaar.
As per the audio recording, Leghari angrily asked the AC that he had directed him to arrange his tour to the Ramazan bazaar but he turned off his phone.
Jatoi told Leghari that the battery of his phone had run out but now he could visit the bazaar anytime. Leghari responded, “If you want to fight, I am coming. Tell me where I can come.”

MUZAFFARGARH: An alleged audio of PTI lawmaker from Muzaffargarh Khurram Khan Leghari has surfaced on the social media in which he is reprimanding Assistant Commissioner Jatoi Arshad for not facilitating his tour to the Ramazan Bazaar.
As per the audio recording, Leghari angrily asked the AC that he had directed him to arrange his tour to the Ramazan bazaar but he turned off his phone.
