A Baraboo woman was recently charged with six felony counts of theft after being accused of stealing nearly $133,000 from her the vet clinic she worked for.
Bobbi Jo Tracy, 44, faces a maximum of 40 years in prison and fines up to $75,000 for the charges filed March 10 in Sauk County Circuit Court.
According to the criminal complaint, Tracy was hired in October 2012 to work at the front desk of Noble Hound Animal Hospital & Pet Resort, 490 Bunker Road, and was promoted three years later to office manager. She left the business in March 2018, citing stress, according to a doctor at the clinic.

A Baraboo man who had been facing a maximum prison sentence of 25 years for felony child neglect that resulted in the death of a 9-year-old saw his case dismissed Monday in Sauk County Circuit Court.
Christopher J. Fisher, 43, was accused of neglect after a child was found lying face down and unconscious in late July in the bathroom of a Lake Delton home. Emergency responders took the 9-year-old to St. Clare Hospital, but the attending physician announced the child dead just two hours later.

âIâm racist by default,â Greg Pittman of North Freedom, Wisconsin said last summer.
After George Floyd was killed by police in Minneapolis, it forced Pittman to take a hard look at his own implicit biases. He says he has known he has had racist tendencies, reinforced in his life by his family.
