He said secondly he wanted to deliver two messages.
He said while everyone felt Stadium is a song about a release from being cooped up at home, it actually spoke to Guyana’s racial climate. During his performance, he called for unity.
“Stadium is a lifestyle, it is the one place you go where nobody don’t care who rich or who poor, nobody don’t know who is who,” he explained.
He said the song was also about urging people to remember no matter what happens God is in charge.
“Last year when COVID hit I was touring and I got stuck overseas for four months, I saw people die. I want people to know, that no matter what happens, God’s plans remain,” he added.

THE day before Farmer Nappy won The Monarch soca crown, he was giving an exhilarating performance at MovieTowne, Invaders Bay, Port of Spain.
He continued his winning streak when on Wednesday, it was announced he topped the bmobile TUCO online Road March competition.
On stage, Farmer aka Darryl Henry, joined fellow artiste Marvin Swappi Davis as the headline acts for Soca Shockwave as part of five days of Carnival City events at MovieTowne, which included pan, chutney, calypso and a Carnival market.

WITH his contribution Overproof, Trinidadian artist Tevin Hartman has joined a list of young, notable Dominican acts on the soca-inspired Dwivayèz Riddim produced by ProducerDlo (Dylan Lowe) and Savion Beats (Savion Augustine), both from Dominica.
Hartman, who was connected to Dlo through fellow Trini and 2020 Groovy Soca Monarch winner College Boy Jesse, says he was drawn to the combination of tones and instruments in the production.

Darryl “Farmer Nappy” Henry has won the Trinbago Unified Calypsonians Organisation (TUCO) and bmobile’s online Road March competition in a year of no march on the road. And for him, it is a win for the people.
Besides winning the online Road March, he also won the Soca Monarch with a prize of $150,000.
Carnival 2021 was cancelled because of the covid19 pandemic.
He was presented with his $100,000 prize at a ceremony at the TSTT suite, Queen’s Park Oval, Tragarete Road, Port of Spain on Wednesday.
Long-time friend and former bandmate Machel Montano congratulated Farmer Nappy on his win saying, “From day one we knew this will come. ‘Darieeeeeeeee’ ah could hear Miss Virgie and Ma Barbs right next to her crying with joy for their son.
