Officials said Marquez was seen carrying a weapon they described as a rifle. According to police, SWAT officers at the scene had a clear view of the dumpster where Marquez and an unidentified woman were hiding following a pursuit Monday evening.

Warren County man dies after being struck by car in Poconos, police say Updated Mar 08, 2021; An 80-year-old Hackettstown area man died Sunday after being struck by a car in Monroe County, Pennsylvania State Police report. Allan L. Johnson was hit about noon by a 2012 Honda Accord on Paradise Valley Road south of Route 715 in Paradise Township, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver of the car, Patricia A. Doleiden, 85, of Stroudsburg, was not hurt and remained at the scene, police said. The news release did not provide the circumstances of what Johnson was doing when he was struck. The cause and manner of Johnson’s death will be determined by the Monroe County coroner.
