The City of Tulsa s Equipment Management Division in the Asset Management Department has won the 2021 No. 1 Fleet Award from The 100 Best Fleets in the Americas – including North and South America. Other contest sponsors were the National Association of Fleet Administrators and North Carolina State University Clean Transportation. Equipment Management (EMD) maintains the City of Tulsa s vehicle fleet, including police and fire vehicles.

The climate crisis.
The portrayal of the effects of climate change are often limited in scope to massive, decimating wildfires in the Western part of the country, but they are also felt locally. Its effects in Worcester can be pointed to in the form of storms, droughts and rising temperatures.
Over the past few decades, Worcester has seen countless storms and environmental events that can be traced back to a changing climate. Residents will recall the devastating ice storm of 2008 that left thousands powerless, streets flooded and trees toppled over onto cars and houses. Practically every inch of the city was covered in ice.

A popular seafood restaurant in Labuan suffered extensive damage after it was hit by three-metre waves during a high tide phenomenon on Jan 14. - Bernama
LABUAN (Bernama): A rare high tide phenomenon which hit coastal villages here also destroyed the popular Anjung Ketam Nagalang floating seafood restaurant.
Its 62-year-old owner Ali Buah said three-metre high waves crashed against the restaurant building and its wooden walkway at 8pm on Tuesday (Jan 14), causing damage estimated at RM100,000. It happened in the blink of an eye. We had never experienced such massive waves before. We could only watch and do nothing when waves struck the extended restaurant structure and washed away pieces of the wooden walkway, he told Bernama when met at the scene Friday (Jan 15).
