The late composer s soundtrack for I DUE EVASI DI SING SING dates back to 1964
A long-lost Ennio Morricone score that dates back to 1964 is to receive its first commercial release next month via Sonor Music Editions.
I DUE EVASI DI SING SING was directed by Lucio Fulci and starred famed Italian comedy characters Franco Franchi and Ciccio Ingrassia. The film, Sonor Music Editions says, follow the story of two sloppy thieves (Franchi and Ingrassia).
The score itself was originally released on a rare promo-only library release in the late 60s, with the score therefore falling under the radar in the decades that followed. With the original MONO tapes having been located, Sonor was able to work with the original soundtrack sequence adding two bonus tracks from the original sessions to the new release.
