The Challenge: All Stars’ Syrus Yarbrough says castmate ‘definitely sabotaged’ him during daily mission

With The Challenge: All Stars spinoff season, competitors are mostly enjoying being back together for a fun reunion to reminisce over their days on MTV’s reality competition series.
However, there’s still the intensity of competition involved in the spinoff on Paramount+, with daily challenges or missions putting competitors’ physical and mental capabilities to the test.
During one of the episodes, competitors worked as teams, then in pairs, and then on their own. Based on recent comments from Syrus Yarbrough, he believes one of his teammates sabotaged him during the daily challenge.

On The Challenge: All Stars, eliminations are still in play, and they don’t have Gold Skulls like Double Agents. However, they still involve competitors going into tough battles against their castmates.
They also involve a deliberation meeting and votes from most of the cast regarding who will go into the elimination. Several of the losing competitors have been given the respect of their castmates to choose who they’d want to go against in the elimination.

For some of the cast members on The Challenge: All Stars spinoff season, they were making their return to an updated show they weren’t as familiar with after being away from it for many years.
That included Yes Duffy, who last appeared on Battle of the Sexes season in 2003. His 17 years away from the show meant he needed to get up to speed on how to play the game.
Luckily, he had a few castmates around that he could lean on for experience, and learned from their mindsets in terms of how they approached the game.

In The Challenge: All Stars Episode 5, the cast will be tasked with another tough daily mission, forcing competitors to work together effectively as a group.
This one looks like it will put the OG stars to the test, as it involves transporting a heavy object across the terrain, with a major catch to prevent a disqualification.
Based on the sneak peek footage ahead of the episode, at least one cast member is going to struggle, surprising castmates due to that individual’s impressive physique.
Their flirty situation seemed to come into play later. Since Syrus and his teammate Beth finished last in the daily challenge, Syrus was automatically put into elimination. He told others that he wanted to take on Alton because he felt Alton held his group back during the daily challenge.
That apparently caused some tension as Alton didn’t feel he should go in. He tried to suggest Eric “Big Easy” Banks instead during the deliberation meeting. Still, most of the voting cast members chose Alton as Syrus’ opponent.
At The Arena, host TJ Lavin revealed a big twist it would be a double elimination. It meant Beth was automatically going in as Syrus’ partner. Alton got to choose his teammate, so he picked Aneesa Ferreira, and they dominated the event, sending Beth and Syrus home.
