Pakistan- 2 soldiers martyred, 8 injured in South Waziristan attack

(MENAFN - Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: Two soldiers were martyred while eight others were injured in an attack on the security forces in South Waziristan tribal district on Monday. Sources said a convoy of the security forces was attacked at Wana Bypass Road near Speen Jumaat in which two soldiers were martyred, while eight others were injured. The martyred soldiers included Naib Subedar Siraj and Sepoy Shams, while the injured included Lance Naiks Nadeem, Meer Mohammad, Saqib, Zahid, Syed Mohammad, and Sepoys Salar, Khalid and Safdar. The deceased and injured soldiers were shifted to hospital and a search operation was launched in the entire area. However, there was no word about any arrest.
