Earlier, the suspects were sent to Adiala Jail for identification parade.
Sources told Dawn that the couple told investigators that two of the suspects made videos and one was standing outside the flat.
SP Saddar Zone Farooq Amjad Buttar told Dawn that after the identification the three suspects were produced in the court of law which gave them to police on six days physical remand.

Replying to a question, SP Butter said the video could be admissible as evidence in the court after forensic examination, and they have sent the video to the lab.

Collective efforts stressed to save youth from drugs

Islamabad : Inspector General Police Islamabad Qazi Jamil ur Rehman has called for collective efforts to save youth from drugs.
He was addressing a seminar in connection with use here under the auspices of Islamabad police. The IGP said that the police were working on the eradication of drugs from society. He underlined the role of ‘ulema’ for minimizing the use of drugs.
He was of the view that the police were also being made accountable when it comes to action against the drug-users and suppliers. He said many of the police officials have been penalized for their abetment to the crime. The IGP also invited the ‘ulema’ to sit in the conciliatory committees.
ISLAMABAD: An officer of Establishment Division was arrested on charges of rape, police said on Wednesday.
SSP (Operation) Dr Syed Mustafa Tanweer told
Dawn that the officer was arrested in connection with a case registered with Shahzad Town police station under PPC 376 and 342 in response to a complaint lodged by a woman.
The victim alleged that she was raped by the government officer in a hostel, the SSP said, adding a police team arrested the suspect from his residence.
According to the FIR, the girl is a resident of Peshawar. She was in Kohat with her grandfather when she received a call from the suspect on Tuesday.
