EDWARDSVILLE A motorist claims another driver failed to stop at the intersection of Cypress Street and 12th Street in Highland, causing a collision.
Audrey Kasmarzik filed a complaint July 12 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Ralph Kampwerth in the Madison County Circuit Court, alleging negligence.
According to Kasmarzik s complaint, she was driving her 2016 Ford Escape on Cypress Street at the intersection of 12th Street in Highland on Oct. 10, 2019. She claims Kampwerth was traveling on 12th Street and approaching the intersection. He had a stop sign facing his direction of travel but allegedly failed to stop and collided into the side of the plaintiff s vehicle.
