Global cyber security index: Bangladesh moves 8 notches up Sun Online Desk 24th December, 2020 11:46:59 Bangladesh has advanced eight notches in the global cyber security index measured by UK-based National Cyber Security Index (NCSI). The country ranked 65th with a score of 44.16 among 160 countries in the index. In the Index in 2018, Bangladesh ranked 73rd with an overall score of 25.97. Bangladesh ranks second among South Asian countries and India is in the best position with an overall score of 59.74, and the index ranks 35th. Among the other countries in the region, Pakistan is 66th, Nepal 93rd, Sri Lanka 98th, Bhutan 115th, Afghanistan 132nd, and Myanmar 139th.
