Mick Antoniw has been re-elected as the MS for Pontypridd.
The election count for the Pontypridd constituency took place at Hawthorn Leisure Centre on Friday, May 7, and Labour managed to hold onto the seat once more. It comes as no huge surprise as Pontypridd has always had a Labour representative in the Senedd.

Cyclists banned from using a bridge on a duke s country estate say they are being made to feel like criminals.
Riders are barred from the crossing within Bolton Abbey and say they must take a dangerous main road diversion.
They argue the measure at the Yorkshire Dales beauty spot, owned by the 12th Duke of Devonshire, breaches tax breaks granted in return for public access.
Estate bosses said it was a temporary change due to Covid-19 protocols and alternative access was available.
New CCTV and a well-being hub for people seeking help are among the improvements at the Humber Bridge as the footpaths and cycleways reopened on Thursday.
They had been closed for more than a month in an emergency move after six people, including a teenage girl from Willerby near Hull, lost their lives at the bridge between March 3 and April 3 this year.
New CCTV has been installed and the paths on either side of the bridge will be open between 5am and 9pm every day. Pedestrians and cyclists who intend to cross must also register with the bridge board beforehand, according to Labour MP Emma Hardy.

Council candidates views on improving cycling facilities across Suffolk are to be used by pressure group Cycling UK to call for more improvements over the next few years.
A survey was sent to 258 candidates in all the main political parties as well as many independent candidates. The majority supported moves to make cycling more attractive and to try to make cyclists feel safer while out on the roads.
There were only 46 responses - but organiser Tim Regester said that when similar surveys had been carried out in other parts of the country they often had a slow start.

A new Cornish cycling route that takes in some of the UK’s most spectacular coastal scenery as well as atmospheric old industrial works and bronze age monuments is due to open in the autumn.
Called the West Kernow Way, the 150-mile route begins and ends in Penzance and is designed to take four days to complete.
The charity Cycling UK has been working for more than a year on developing the project, plotting a route using bridleways, byways and quiet stretches of country road.
Highlights will include Land’s End, the most westerly place in mainland England, the Lizard Point, the most southerly spot of mainland Britain, and the island castle and gardens of St Michael’s Mount.
