Twice Brewed Brew House wins Double Gold award in European Beer Challenge 2021

KEGS are being cracked open in celebration at one of the county’s breweries after one of its most popular beers saw off international competition. The Twice Brewed Brew House, near Bardon Mill, has picked up a Double Gold award with its entry of Juno Pilsner into the European Beer Challenge 2021. Billed as ‘Europe’s Most Important Beer Competition’, The Twice Brewed’s Juno was one of thousands of beer samples entered from breweries across 39 countries. But it was the Northumberland-made Bohemian style Pilsner that left the judges ‘blown away’. “We are absolutely thrilled to have been given this award - our first international prize - and will be hanging it proudly in the brew house”, said head brewer of The Twice Brewed Brew House, Matthew Brown.
