Join us in celebrating international self-care day : PSI

July 24th is International Self-Care Day, an annual opportunity to spotlight the value of self-care practices, and the approaches people use every day to prevent illness and maximize their health. This day was established in 2011 to raise awareness of the importance of self-care and provide people with the knowledge and ability on how to be active participants in their own wellness. Self-care has been around considerably longer than 10 years, but the concept has gained increased attention recently with a special focus on wellness. This can be anything from healthy eating and good hygiene to practicing lifestyle habits that prevent disease to maintaining good mental and physical health.

The community sector has called for genuine partnership as part of developing an effective COVID-19 response yet faced multiple barriers often for months.
