COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Qatar on two days official visit

Islamabad, Pakistan: General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) visited Qatar on two days official visit, reports DND News Agency by citing Inter-Service Public Relations ISPR) of Pakistan Armed Forces.
During the visit, COAS witnessed passing out parade at Ahmed Bin Muhammad Military College.
He appreciated high standards of the institution and its efforts towards grooming of young cadets to take on challenges of the future battlefield.
Later, COAS called on His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani – Emir of the State of Qatar, His Excellency Doctor Khalid Bin Muhammad Al-Attiya – Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Defence Affairs and Lieutenant General (Pilot) Ghanim Bin Shaheen Al-Ghanim – Chief of Staff Qatar Armed Forces. During the meetings, matters of mutual interest, defence & security cooperation and regional geo-political environment were discussed.
The Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Kaduna State Command, has said there is no COVID-19 infection in Kaduna Custodial Centre.
The Command`s Public Relations Officer (CPRO), Mr Daniel Wadai, disclosed this in a statement made available on Saturday in Abuja by the Service Public Relations Officer (SPRO), Mr Francis Enobore.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) gathered that members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), Shiites, had on Friday, Jan. 22, 2021 asked the Federal Government to immediately release Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky from custody, after his wife, Zeenah, was reported to have tested positive for COVID-19.
Wadai, however, said there was no report of such incident in any of the facilities, saying that all the inmates were safe and highly protected from the virus.
