Join us for a very special collaborative event with students from the Museum Studies Program at San Francisco State University and staff from the University s Global Museum, who will provide an exclusive tour of Adolph Sutro s Egyptian Collection. At SF State since 1972, the collection houses over 700 objects including two mummies that are approximately 3,500 years old. The event will begin at 6:00pm with a cocktail warm-up as our hosts teach you how to make Clara’s Punch (non-alcoholic) and Spirit of Nespaperennub (alcoholic), which was inspired by an artifact in the Museum collection. Then, sip your drinks as we give you an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of objects on display and in storage at the Global Museum. Play-by-play commentary will be provided by WNP s Nicole Meldahl and our good friend John Martini, and there will of course be a Q&A session to follow.
