Latest deal is for law firm DLA Piper
Morgan Sindall-owned Overbury will start work this month on a £4.7m fit-out deal at DLA Piper’s new office at Two Chamberlain Square in Birmingham.
The law firm is expected to move into the building, part of Argent’s £700m Paradise scheme in the middle of the city, later this year.
The building was completed by Bam last year
Designed by Glenn Howells, the eight-storey building was completed by Bam last year when the law firm was originally due to move in. But the covid-19 pandemic delayed the move with Overbury expected to finish the job later this summer.
The
Trispan-backed Thai restaurant group, which operates venues in Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds as well as across London, will open in the £700m city centre development later this spring joining hospitality groups Dishoom and Vinoteca.
Opening in Two Chamberlain Square, the new venue will have 80 covers and operate for lunch and dinner seven days a week when the eight-story office building is completed later this year.
“For us, the offer at Paradise was too good an opportunity to miss and we are extremely happy with the setting of our new restaurant overlooking Centenary Way,” says Rosa’s managing director Gavin Adair.
